Onsite Classes and Workshops

Immerse yourself in the full rewilding experience with our on-site classes and workshops at Cefn Coed Wild Camping. Set in the heart of untamed Welsh landscape, our offerings are designed to help you reconnect—mind, body, and spirit—with the natural world. Explore the land through guided tracking and foraging, find stillness in yoga and meditation, and discover new ways of being in rhythm with nature. With more experiences on the horizon, each session is a step toward deeper connection, presence, and wildness.

  • Rewilding Facilitator

I am a facilitator of rewilding – landscapes, people, and society.  I offer experiential, educational courses in nature connection, spiritual ecology and skills for social change – combining all three where possible. I’m passionate about nature, connection and the transformation of self and society to be more deeply connected and life-affirming. I take a holistic approach to life and social change, and find that my passion for the natural world and social change finds expression in many ways. I’m involved in rewilding land as Vice Chair of the Cambrian Wildwood project, but I consider all of my work to be ‘rewilding’.

I’m particularly interested in practical applications of nature connection and have worked with a diverse range of groups to bring the natural world into multiple spheres of society. This has included: activism and social change, architecture and the built environment, creative arts, well-being and emotional resilience, spirituality, sustainability, and climate change adaptation.

I lecture and facilitate on nature connection, spirituality, activism and rewilding on Masters programmes and short courses at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT),  Schumacher CollegeEcodharma and St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation & Peace, and work part-time in woodland management at CAT. My passion for the natural world also finds expression in freelance writing and political activism on various levels, and have spent much of the last few years organising with Reclaim the Power and Plane Stupid, and acting as Environment Editor for Red Pepper magazine.

I’m an Associate Fellow of the St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation & Peace, and an alumni of their Spiritual Ecology leadership programme. My explorations of spirituality and nature connection merge with my practise of Buddhist meditation and nature-based spiritual practises inspired by indigenous wisdom traditions. I taught Buddhist meditation and organised events and retreats for young people, within the Triratna Buddhist Community and at the University of Birmingham, before moving to rural Wales a few years ago where there are less young people to organise but more wilderness to enjoy.
