Frequently Asked Questions
Can I park next to my pitch?
With all meadow pitches you are able to park next to your tent, however our woodland pitches are not accessible via car - and you will need to leave your car in. our secure car park.
Do you provide electric bike charging or battery charging facilities?
We do not provide any charging facilities other than the ability to charge mobile phones and very small mobile battery packs.
Will I have to walk to the facilities?
Yes, as a nearly wild campsite, the ethos of our site is to provide an off-grid experience. For those who would prefer a location closest to the facilities, this can be provided on an availability basis.
How do I get my belonings to my woodland pitch?
We provide exceptionally sturdy wheelbarrows to assist you in taking your belongings to and from your pitch.
Can we bring our own wood?
We do not permit the burning of logs or kindling purchased elsewhere. It is strictly prohibited to use wood from the woodland in fire pits, and any fires must be in a raised fire-pit.
Is there drinking water available?
Yes, we provide filtered mountain spring water which is ready to drink without boiling- in clearly marked locations.
Is there WiFi?
We offer free WiFi to our guests, but please note that due to our very rural location the connection is quite weak. We recommend making any downloads prior to your visit, and switching off during your stay. Mobile phone signal has improved drastically over the years and maybe a better alternative.
