Woodland Kitchen & Bar
Open to everyone — not just guests staying on site — our woodland bar and kitchen offer a unique food experience centred around wood-fired cooking, local Welsh produce, and relaxed evenings in nature.
Expect hand-stretched Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked over oak in our traditional clay oven, seasonal homemade food, organic wines, local ales, and herb-infused cocktails, all served beneath the trees in our covered woodland seating area.
Looking for a unique food experience whilst exploring Eryri?
Join us every Friday and Saturday evening throughout the season for wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in our traditional clay oven, set amongst the ancient woodland at Cefn Coed.
Open to everyone, our outdoor kitchen and covered woodland seating area offer a unique evening experience centred around good food, cocktails, local ales, blankets, board games, and watching your pizzas cooked over fire using locally sourced logs.
During bank holiday weekends we extend pizza nights to Sundays too, with breakfast served on selected mornings throughout the season.
Pre-orders can be placed online up until 5pm on the same day, and walk-ins are always welcome where possible. Evenings can get very busy during holidays and good weather, so we do recommend pre-ordering to avoid long waits or disappointment.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the kitchen at kitchen@cefncoed.co.uk or +44 7495 563943.

Fireside Suppers
On evenings when we’re not firing up the wood-fired pizza oven or hosting a pop-up kitchen, our Fireside Suppers menu is served.
It’s our regular evening offering — hearty, comforting food designed to be enjoyed slowly, whether you’re by the fire, under canvas, or settling in after a day exploring the coast and mountains.
From baked Camembert sharers and warm bread to Welsh craft pies with generous sides, the menu is centred around soulful, satisfying dishes that feel right at home in the woodland.

Woodland Breakfasts
From April, join us for weekend breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings in the bar and kitchen.
Fresh coffee, breakfast baps and freshly baked pastries make the perfect start to the day — whether you’re heading out to explore the mountains and coastline or enjoying a slower morning around camp.
A warm and welcoming way to begin the day at Cefn Coed.

Hikers Retreat Bar
Our on-site bar serves a relaxed selection of cocktails, locally supplied organic wines, and Welsh ales, alongside Welsh whiskies, gins, and simple bar snacks. The bar is open on food service evenings and during peak season, offering a welcoming space to gather before or after dinner.
