A LITTLE ABOUT US
just wild enough
Cefn Coed, meaning “the back of the woods” in Welsh, is a place shaped by landscape, history, and long-term care. For over 25 years, our family-run farm has been a labour of love, tending woodland, meadows, and rare-breed animals while sharing this special corner of Eryri with others.
Rooted in Nature
We’re passionate about rewilding and reconnecting with nature. Guests are invited to explore ancient oak woodland, open meadows with mountain views, and the banks of the Mawddach Estuary, where birdsong, woodland scents, and firelit nights offer a deeply restorative connection to the natural world.

Wellness in the Wild
Cefn Coed is a place of creativity, craft, and artisan living. Our kitchen and bar serve seasonal, mostly handmade food using local produce, while gentle animal experiences, including rare-breed goats and llamas, deepen connection to the land. Yoga, forest bathing, and nearby trails to Cadair Idris, lakes, waterfalls, and woodland walks offer space to slow down or explore at your own pace.
